Trail Rangers project to go ahead across the shire.

For those of you that already follow us and our work, you’ll already know what Trail Rangers is, and that last year we delivered a one off pilot at the newly opened Tarland Trails.

For anyone unfamiliar with our Trail Rangers project it’s this:

We descend on a location in your community, somewhere like a forest or woodland, or estate that’s got great trails and low level riding offerings. We pitch up our “base Camp” (that’s a fancy term for our gazebo), and we meet a greet visitors, tell them all about the riding and walking trails, and offer advice and guidance on exploring the outdoors. To compliment this we also have a Trail Patrol ongoing through the dates that we visit, helping anyone who’s lost, or had a minor first aid or mechanical incident, so they can get back to base camp.

Is this really necessary you ask? Well actually yes, with an increasing number of people workig from home, or communting in private cars for school or work, connecting with your local outdoor spaces, meeting like minded folk from your own community, and sharing an epic experience in the outdoors is exactly what many of us need.

Look out for more news on dates and venues in 2025.
